Born in 1965 in the renowned pottery town, “Yixing”, “Yang Yijun” has had a lifelong passion for “Zisha” art. His career in “Yixing” “Zisha” began in 1985, where he held the position of workshop director at both “Jiangsu” Fine Pottery Group and “Yixing” “Zisha” Craft Factory No. 1. In 1986, he proudly joined the Chinese Communist Party. Yang graduated from the “Nanjing” University of the Arts in 1993, and in 1994, he was featured in the "Collection of Contemporary Ceramic Art Masters."

“Yang's” creations are celebrated for their elegant and rustic designs, smooth lines, and classical charm, earning high praise from both the “Zisha” community and collectors. His works have been repeatedly selected for international and domestic ceramic exhibitions, winning numerous awards. In recent years, many of his masterpieces have been collected by various museums, art institutes, and cultural centers abroad, marking him as one of the outstanding ceramic artists of “Yixing”.

With over 30 years of experience in the art of “Zisha” teapot making, “Yang Yijun” has an in-depth understanding of the ceramic and “Zisha” production processes in “Yixing”. His profound passion and extensive research in the craft of “Zisha” teapots have been evident since he first entered the field. Yang has consistently adhered to the use of “Huanglongshan” clay (the most authentic clay in “Yixing”) and conventional teapot-making techniques. He employs the unique “Yang” family ancient firing methods, including reduction firing and the creation of the distinctive "Ziyu Jinsha" finish. His dedication results in the production of exquisite masterpieces, highly cherished by teapot enthusiasts.
