“Yang Jianying” was born into a distinguished family of “Zisha” artists in “Shushan” Village, “Dingshu” Town, “Yixing”. She is a descendant of the famous “Qing” Dynasty “Zisha” artists “Yang Pengnian” and “Yang Fengnian”. Her uncle, “Yang Qinfang”, is a “Jiangsu” Provincial Master of Arts and Crafts, and her maternal uncle, “Guo Jicheng”, is a clay magnate and a senior master at the China “Yixing” Ceramic Museum. Growing up in such a rich environment, she developed a deep interest in “Zisha” pottery from an early age, laying a solid foundation for her future career in “Zisha” art. She graduated from the “Nanjing” University of the Arts, where she further cultivated her skills.
