“Wang Yinxian”, a Senior Master of Arts and Crafts, a recognized master of ChineseArts and Crafts, a master of Chinese Ceramic Art, and one of the first national-level representative inheritors of the intangible cultural heritage “Yixing” “Zisha” Pottery Making Techniques.

Born on June 12, 1943, in “Dingshu” Town, “Yixing”, Jiangsu Province, “Wang Yinxian” was admitted to the “Yixing” “Zisha” Art Factory in 1956. She studied under renowned artists “Wu Yungen”, “Jiang Rong”, “Zhu Kexin”, and “Pei Shimin”, and later received guidance from the great master “Gu Jingzhou”. In 1976, she attended an advanced study course on "Design of Daily Use Ceramics" at the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts.

Over the past fifty years, Wang has dedicated herself to diligent study and innovation, integrating the best techniques from various schools of “Zisha” pottery. She is recognized as a modern master of ceramic art.

Wang's teapots are known for their rigorous shapes, profound elegance, and artistic appeal, showcasing her exquisite craftsmanship. She excels at infusing the natural beauty of ecological elements into her pottery art. Her works enjoy high international acclaim, having been exhibited and praised in countries such as Japan, Singapore, Australia, Canada, the United States, the Soviet Union, Czechoslovakia, Germany, Portugal, as well as in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
